DESCRIPTION:Terwijl het aantal dieren dat wordt opgesloten in de krappe kooien en hokken van de vee-industrie nog altijd stijgt\, daalt het aantal wilde dieren in de natuur drastisch. De productie van zo goedkoop mogelijk voedsel put de aarde uit en zorgt ervoor dat dieren- en plantensoorten uitsterven. Wij zijn blij en trots samen te werken met vooraanstaande wetenschappers en de Verenigde Naties. Samen met hen bespreken we bij de presentatie van het rapport hoe we kunnen overstappen op een natuurvriendelijk voedselsysteem dat de biodiversiteit in stand houdt\, in het belang van dieren\, mensen en de aarde. De presentatie is in het Engels. De sprekers zijn: Jane Goodall (apenonderzoekster\, VN-ambassadrice voor de vrede)\, Inger Andersen (directeur VN-milieuprogramma UNEP)\, Tim Benton (onderzoeksdirecteur Chatham House)\, Philip Lymbery (global CEO CIWF).
